Using the service

College Essay Grader provides essay scores, comments, comparisons, and revision suggestions. The service is an educational tool. It does not provide admissions decisions or guarantee admission to any college.

Feedback may be incomplete, subjective, or inaccurate. Review suggestions carefully and decide which ones fit your experience and voice. You remain responsible for your application and for following each school's rules on authorship and outside assistance.

You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, upload another person's essay without permission, or use it unlawfully.

Your essays and other content

You retain ownership of the essays and other content you submit. You give us permission to process and display that content only as needed to provide and maintain the service, including generating feedback and saving your work in your account.

We do not publish or sell your essays, or make them available to colleges, other users, or the public. To generate feedback, contracted AI service providers may process essay text on our behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Plans, payments, and cancellation

Prices, plan limits, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions will be shown before purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe.

We may change plans or prices. If a change affects an active subscription, we will provide notice as required by law.

Our content and service

The website, software, design, and materials we provide belong to College Essay Grader or its licensors. You may use them only as allowed by these Terms. You may not copy or redistribute the service itself without our written permission.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the security or proper operation of the service.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free results, or that any score or suggestion will lead to a particular admissions outcome.

To the extent permitted by law, College Essay Grader will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where applicable law does not allow it.
